Irwin Franchise Capital Corporation (IFCC) is an approved lender for Small Business Administration (SBA) guaranteed loans. Through the SBA, the federal government provides loan guarantees to ensure that small businesses (including franchise restaurant operators) can secure the financing they need to open or expand their business.

SBA loan proceeds can be used to acquire equipment and real estate, undertake leasehold build outs, and fund the working capital needs of the partner buyouts, refinance, business acquisition, remodel, relocation and fund the working capital needs for both new and existing businesses.

IFCC is an approved lender under the SBA Express Program, which covers SBA loans up to $350,000. First time and unseasoned (short tenure single unit) franchisees seeking funds to open their first or second restaurant, to acquire, or to expand or remodel a unit can readily be accommodated under this option. IFCC processes and closes these loans in-house without delays associated with securing SBA approval.

In 2006, IFCC was granted nationwide Preferred Lender status (PLP). This allows start-up or unseasoned franchisees seeking funding in excess of $350,000 to obtain loans under the SBA's Basic 7(a) Loan or 504 Loan Programs. It allows IFCC to complete the loans without going to an SBA office for individual approvals, thus saving time in the process.

IFCC is a nationwide approved lender for the SBA's Patriot Express Program which provides SBA loans up to $500,000 for veterans and members of the military community wanting to establish or expand a small business.
